| I've been searching for 6 months, bought well over $2K in new parts, and done multiple diagnostic tests trying to find out why my dyno is like this: [ http://i.imgur.com/z8kIZxw.jpg ] When I'm running 12 PSI on sport 500s. The one thing I always ruled out was bad compression, because the engine came from a mint condition '95 USDM TT that was in an accident. After they pulled the engine, they did a compression test and it had great compression. Then one day it finally hit me - the engine sat for a long time (over a year) so I thought "maybe the piston rings went bad.." Did a warm compression test that day (all 6 plugs removed, WOT, brand new compression kit), check out these results! #1 through #4 - 110 (give or take 1-2 psi) #5 - 118 #6 - 105 Dab of oil in #1 raised compression to 170. Didn't bother testing the rest of the cylinders - knew engine needs rebuild.
